Having grown up to be each other’s best friend, my sister and I have always indulged each other in written letters to share thoughts and experiences. ​During the global lockdown in 2020, we sought even more ways to connect with each other. With the extra time I had from not needing to commute to work, I started designing postcards to remember the places we visited when we were growing up and sending them to her. I've been fortunate to be able to grow my hobby from there and start illustrateSG. 

 

Just as how art and my sister brings me peace and joy, I hope that illustrateSG will be an anchor and a reminder to stop, breathe and find time to care for yourself and those who matter most to you.  

 

Hopefully, as we grow kinder to ourselves, we might just make the world a better place.
